Were you aiming for that look or is it just coincidence?
Were you aiming for this look, or is that just coincidence? *grin*
No, I must admit that is purely coincidence. I wish I could tell you that I planned it that way lol

What we were after now was the old surprise visit. That was a real kick and good for laughs and lashings of the old ultraviolent.
It was the pale, frail watercolours that made me think of Winnie the Pooh, in the old illustrations, where he's humming his little cloud song; and then I looked down and saw the gun, and thought maybe that it was a statement of some kind linking them together. But it's a strong statement all the same. Even without Winnie the Pooh. *grin*

Wow. Theres a beautiful aethetic in this. The sky is so..ugh..it makes me hungry to paint! This reminds me of a Tom Waits song..with the whole contrasting ideas and colours..The innocent balloon and that gun...The blue and the red. I think the song was called 'Little Bullet From A Pretty Blue Gun'..Might be about prostitutes actually. Meh. Anyway. I agree with what was said above. The contrasting imagery is whats the most captivating about this artwork.

I'm very glad you like it
And songs about prostitutes are always good to know.
